Vanja Smiljanić, The Anthem of New Earth/Remastered

Die Lecture-Performance von Vanja Smiljanić (*1986 in Belgrad, Serbien; lebt und arbeitet in Köln) handelt von drei spirituellen Gemeinschaften, deren Weltanschauung eng mit planetarischen und kosmischen Bewegungen verknüpft sind. Ihre Pläne für diese transhumanistischen Gesellschaften feierlich eine Hymne zu initiieren, behandeln hintersinnig die Frage, wie Rituale eingesetzt werden um kollektive Identität zu stiften.
The lecture performance by Vanja Smiljanić (*1986 in Belgrade, Serbia; lives and works in Cologne) is about three spiritual communities whose ideology is closely connected with planetary and cosmic movements. Her plans to solemnly initiate a hymn for these transhumanist societies subtly touch upon the issue of how rituals contribute to shaping collective identity.
